Big news for drivers — the Electric Vehicle Affordability Program (EVAP) is here! This new federal program is designed to make electric vehicles more accessible by offering direct incentives on eligible EV purchases and leases. If you’re shopping for a Toyota electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, you could qualify for up to $5,000 in federal incentives starting February 16, 2026. - Incentives available for vehicles with a final transaction value of $50,000 or less
- No transaction value limit for EVs manufactured in Canada
- Vehicles must be made in Canada or in a country with a free-trade agreement with Canada

EVAP incentives are determined by the vehicle's powertrain and transaction eligibility.
Battery Electric (BEV)
Includes new fully-electric vehicles and Hydrogen Fuel Cell (FCEV) models with zero tailpipe emissions.
Up to $5,000*
Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV)
Applies to vehicles combining internal combustion engines with plug-in rechargeable batteries.
Up to $2,500*
